Beef Tallow FAQ
What is Beef Tallow?
Beef tallow is pure, rendered fat from beef, traditionally sourced from grass-fed cattle. It’s been used for centuries as a cooking fat, a skin moisturizer, and even a survival food. Unlike highly processed seed oils, tallow is natural, stable, and packed with essential nutrients.
For thousands of years, humans thrived on animal fats—and beef tallow was one of the most prized. It fueled warriors, built strong bodies, and sustained entire civilizations. But thanks to many misconceptions (which we go into in-depth in our e-book - more info at bottom), it was wrongly demonized and replaced with chemical-laden, industrial sludge, otherwise known as seed-oils (think canola oil).
Your ancestors didn’t fry their food in lab-made oils—they used tallow, butter, and lard. And guess what? They didn’t suffer from the same metabolic diseases that plague modern society.
Health Benefits of Beef Tallow
Rich in Fat-Soluble Vitamins (A, D, E, K)
- These vitamins are critical for immune function, vision, skin health, and bone strength. ***
- Unlike synthetic vitamins added to processed foods, fat-soluble vitamins in tallow are naturally occurring and highly bioavailable—your body absorbs them effortlessly.
- Vitamin K2 in grass-fed tallow is essential for calcium metabolism, preventing artery calcification and supporting heart health. ***
Boosts Metabolism & Supports Hormone Health
- Unlike seed oils that disrupt hormones and crash your testosterone levels, tallow supports natural hormone production. ***
- Cholesterol is the building block of hormones—and your body thrives on high-quality dietary fats like tallow. ***
- Provides sustained energy and helps your body efficiently burn fat instead of relying on sugar and carbs. ***
Supports Brain Function & Fights Inflammation
- Your brain is made of fat—and it runs best on healthy, stable fats like those found in tallow.
- Contains Omega-3s and Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA), which reduce inflammation, support cognitive function, and protect against neurodegenerative diseases. ***
- Helps repair gut health—since inflammation starts in the gut, reducing seed oils and switching to tallow can reverse years of damage. ***
How We Make Our Tallow
We don’t cut corners. We cut fat—straight from 100% American grass-fed cattle. The kind of cattle raised the way nature intended: out in the field, not pumped full of hormones or seed oil slop.
Then we do what your great-grandparents would’ve done (if they had night vision and trigger discipline):
We render the fat low and slow at 180 degrees in small batches, constantly stirring to avoid any oxidation. No shortcuts. No industrial nastiness. Just time, heat, and know-how.
Once it’s liquefied into our liquid gold, we triple-filter it by hand to remove any impurities and achieve that smooth, clean finish you’ll notice right away. The result? A jar of tallow so pure, it practically salutes you.
Poured hot, sealed tight, and slapped with a label that doesn’t apologize for being American-made.
This ain’t factory grease. This is battlefield butter.
